I am coming back! It is time for the church to stand up and recognize how dangerous Scientology is. It is important to not just pray but to act. There are thousands who have been harmed by the organization of Scientology and they deserve our support in any way we can.
It is my goal to start a ministry to inform the church on cults like Scientology and to maybe one day create a home where those individuals who need a place to run from Scientology can escape from its clutches. I will keep you informed of my progress in relation to a ministry for Scientologists and other cult groups.
My focus is on loving Scientologists. Too often people are condemned for finding themselves in a cult. I believe this is wrong. At any given time in all of our lives we are vulnerable to a cult. This does not make one stupid for being involved! If anything Scientologists are smart, kind-hearted, and concerned citizens. They are usually looking for a group to help them make a difference. Unfortunately they find themselves in a trap and need help to get out.
So let's pray that the hearts of Scientologists will be softened to hearing an alternative to their own theology. Pray for their safety in a group that abuses their followers. Pray for the individuals as if they were members of your own family. Remember we are called as Christians to love others as Christ loved us.
Pray for Scientology
Everyday we lift a Scientologist in prayer hoping to turn the tide of the millions who have been hurt by this cult.

Tommy Davis
If you saw the famous Panorama documentary by John Sweeney you should be familiar with Tommy Davis. For ten years he was the PR spokesman for Scientology, a job surely few would want. He and his wife were also the "handlers" for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
It is a mystery now where both Tommy Davis and his wife are. There are two theories floating around. One says that Tommy and his wife have left Scientology. The second is that Tommy found himself in the disfavor of David Miscavige, leader of Scientology, landing himself in the Rehabilitation Project Force, a sort of prison within the elite Sea Org of Scientology.
Wherever he is, he is in need of prayer. For protection and recovery, or safety and the chance to get out.
Please remember to keep Scientology in your prayers.

Jenna Miscavige Hill
Jenna Miscavige Hill grew up in Scientology. She left in 2005 and became an outspoken critic of the group. Along with two other former child Scientologists she created a website : exscientologykids.com. Recently she released a book, Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape.
Speaking out the way Jenna has puts her in a dangerous position as a suppressive person (SP) with the Scientologists. It makes her "fair game" in the eyes of the group which means that a person is judged a threat to Scientology and they can be punished and harassed using ANY and ALL means possible.
You can read more about the "Fair Game" policy on www.wikipedia.org.

Susan Meister
Susan Meister was one of the first casualties of Scientology. She came into the organization via the San Francisco org in the 1970s. She was incredibly devoted and wrote her family long letters telling of the wonders of Scientology. After about a year she found herself on board the Apollo (the flagship that L Ron Hubbard called home) as a member of the elite Sea Org. Just a few months later she was found in one of her superior's cabins, wearing a nice dress her mother had sent her for her birthday, holding a long barreled revolver, arms crossed over her chest, with a bullet hole dead center in her forehead. When her father arrived in Morocco he was given the run around by members of the ship and LRH refused to meet with him. Among his many questions: how could his daughter have killed herself with the long barrel revolver? It would require holding the gun with both hands away from her body, and there were no powder burns to show the shot was close range. Getting her home was not easy as the Scientologists took the time to bury her before her father had arrived.
Pray for the Meister family, for the daughter they lost and the questions that still persist.
Pray for those in the organization who are in danger of becoming another statistic. We cannot afford to lose so many beautiful, intelligent souls.

Those who have gone before us...
Pray today for the families of those who have lost loved ones to this evil cult. Some have lost their physical lives, many lost their physical/mental health, and some have just lost them inside the cult itself.
As laughable as we may think the behavior of this group is, it is a seriously dangerous beast. People are daily in harm's way.

Pray Today!
Scientology is dangerous. People are abused each and every day in the organization. It is important as Christians to remember those in leadership and individuals who are suffering at the hands of a cult out of control.
Today my focus is at the top. I want to pray for David Miscavige. He is the leader of the organization. Many believe he fought his way to the top even against the wishes of the founder L. Ron Hubbard. He has been in the organization since he was a child meaning all he has known for the majority of his life is the group. It is rumored that he abuses those around him, even those in high positions of leadership. Many followers have jettisoned from Scientology in the years that Miscavige has been at the helm, some breaking off to form their own splinter groups of the ideology. His wife has not been seen for year leading to some rumors that she may have died.
While it may seem very hard for us to vote for a man who can do so much harm we can pray that his heart would be softened and he can be healed from his desire to do harm to those around him. While it would probably not kill the organization it would certainly be an amazing witness to many if this man would change the course of his life. Certainly this man has many trust issues as can be seen in the way he treats those around him. And there is no way he can be truly happy. As bad as people look from the outside, remember what you were before Christ turned your life around and pray for the change in David Miscavige's life that would make a difference for him and those who surround him. (And maybe the life of his bff, Tom Cruise.)
